Hi Antonia, Hope you enjoy lovehennahair.
I have dark brown hair with loads of grey and I use 1 part henna to 2 parts indigo to get the right shade. When I started experimenting with henna and indigo, initially I did not use as much indigo as I do now but, to be honest, no one else noticed that that the grey bits were not the same shade as the rest. And if they did, they probably thought I had had highlights put in.
Take a look around and join any groups you fancy and also feel free to add to any discussions or ask any questions.
As I said on Twitter henna is fine to use during pregnancy as there are no chemicals. As long as it is Real Henna and not a compound mix. Any henna that is sold as black henna or blonde henna is generally a mixture of some sort - sometimes with metallic compounds added.
At LoveHennaHair we only sell the pure products with no chemicals or metallic compounds mixed in. Indigo (again as long as it's pure indigo) is also fine - so if you were wanting darkish brown hair then pure 2/3 indigo mixed with 1/3 pure henna is probably your best bet.
