My original hair colour is darkish brown.

Ingredients:
50g Henna
2 Tablespoons Indigo
Water & Lemon Juice
I mixed the ingredients together and they were mudpie(ish) texture and left for about 6 hours. I smothered my hair in the mixture and left for about 2 & 1/2 hours. My hair turned out a lovely auburn colour and feels silky soft and smooth. I dyed it about three weeks ago and haven't used conditioner since - my hair just doesn't need it.

I dyed my Mum's hair with 1/3 Indigo and 2/3 Henna.

50g Henna
20g Indigo
Water and lemon jice
Lavender oil

I started by mixing up the henna with half water and half lemon juice in the evening and then the next morning I mixed up the indigo with water and added it to the mix. I also added a few drops of lavender oil for a gentle fragrance.
We coated my Mum's hair and left it on for a little over 2 hours.

She went from a blonde grey to a stunning auburn!

I also dyed my brother's friend Brett's hair.

Brett had a few grey hairs that he was becoming conscious of and he had unpleasant reactions to chemical hair dyes so he asked if we could try henna and indigo on him.

For Brett's hair we mixed up 2/3 indigo to 1/3 henna as he didn't want to be a redhead, more brown.
I started by mixing up the henna with water and a bit of lemon juice and leaving to stand overnight. The next morning I mixed up the indigo with some water added it to the henna and applied to Brett's hair.
We left the mixture on for about 2 hours and rinsed thoroughly.

Brett was very happy with the final outcome - no greys and his girlfriend says he looks younger! ;-)
