I'm going to have my hair cut tomorrow am and need some opinions...
I've found that my colour and condition of my hair is stunning from the henna usage but I need a style that will show that off to it's full potential.
My hair at the moment is kinda shaggy because I haven't had it cut since July.
I've half decided to try and grow it longer but need a style that will grow out nicely without me having to have too many haircuts.
Don't like my fringe in my face and I don't want to chop off too much. Was half considering a bob that is a bit longer at the front than the back - then when the back gets long enough I can get a straight, allround bob.
Helen,
What you are planning sounds good, but, from this side view, it looks as if you'd have to go drastically short at the back to achieve that. Are you prepared for that?
After years of agonising over hair styles, I now have a bob that is long at the front and short at the back, no fringe but the front bits can be tucked behind my ears if I want. My husband, who normally complains that I do not make enough of an effort with my appearance, has surprised me by saying that this hair style shows off the healthy glow and reddish tinge of henna perfectly.

Yes, I think you are right Jyoti, that might be going too short.
I'm going to chat with my friend first as she is always good at pointing me in the right direction. Off there in a minute (after the school run).
Have you got a recent pic that you can put up to show your lovely healthy hair?
Hi Helen,
I thought I would share before and after pics. The first one shows my hair as it was before henna and the second one is after using 1/3henna and 2/3 indigo. I think the difference is marked. What do others think?
Your hair looks great, how did you manage to get rid of the fringe? Please teach me how to keep the photos on the page rather than as attachments. What did your hairdresser think of the colour and condition?
My hairdresser friend said my hair was the shiniest and silkiest hair she had probably ever cut. She was most impressed. And tons more people complimented me on the colour today, the style looks sleek and shiny and makes the colour even more beautiful - helps that the sun was shining.
