Halloween - Love it or hate it?

I really enjoy halloween - gives the kids the opportunity to dress up and have fun - wandering around our little neighbourhood (closely followed by Mum & Dad). And we only visit the houses that have halloween decorations up - we figure if they celebrate halloween they are happy to open their door to kids.
Actually quite looking forward to it this year - being on a Friday.

But I do know that one of the mums at my children's school gets all upset about halloween - she's very religious and seems to think it's devil-worship or something.
I actually did some research once on halloween and it's origins and it's all about the harvest festivals around the world and nothing about worshipping any devils - as far as I can see.

What's your opinion? Do you let your little "devils" run around the neighbourhood on halloween?
